Earth Day 2008
I hold the future of our earth in the pads of my paws... and so do you! Do your part and be active about reusing, reducing, and recycling.
Orbee-tuff balls are non-toxic, recyclable, and last a long time.
Brown Bear was made from recycled products.
Everyone should be aware and concerned about the environment and the planet we live on. Here are some tips...
1. Buy dog toys that are made from recycled products or are recyclable.
2. Use biodegradable bags for cleaning up after us dogs.
3. Use biodegradable puppy pads for those who need to use pads. Hartz makes some great biodegradable pads that are better than regular pads.
4. If possible, buy locally made dog treats.
Shop OliveGreenDog.com until April 30th and recieve 15% Off!!!

Annie's Sweatshop is also a great place to buy from to help the environment! Their products are not only great for the environment, they're also great for dachshunds.
Don't forget the three Rs,

It's That Time of the Month
It's that time of the month when we get a special treat... Heart Guard! It's called "Heart Guard" because I love it sooo much. I "heart" it.
Brody was especially excited to get his treat and the second Nina gave it to him, he swallowed it whole. He didn't even try to chew and savor it. I mean, we only get it once every month! What a dummy... Then Brody went after me because I was still chewing and Nina had to grab him to make sure he didn't get more than he was supposed to.

Uh Oh, I'm in Trouble
I'm an excellent scavenger. I can find anything, anywhere, anytime. Nina keeps all her pens and markers in drawers and in cups on her desk but I still found one. She has no clue where I got it.
Signing off,
Franny
Pen chewing is so much fun. Too bad it leaves behind evidence.
Where'd that stain come from?
I didn't do anything. I'm just minding my own business...
Signing off,
Franny
P.S. I guess pen chewing is a really bad habit. I'm trying to quit because I heard it stains your teeth. At $5 a pack, I can't afford it anyway.

Hanging Out Back
We hung out in the backyard today while Nina read a book. It was such a nice day. You know, Nina planted this tree before I was even born. It's still growing strong. I'm amazed because she's killed many plants. Thankfully, she hasn't killed any dogs... yet.
