Beach Day

Today we spent the day at Fort Funston. This time we walked down the steep sand trail to the beach. It was such a nice day and the water looked so blue.

My favorite place to dig is at the beach.

I'll never go in there...

I smell something fishy.

Look at all the paw prints.

Did you go swimming, my friend?

I'm rock climbing!

Time to walk up the sand trail... I'm already tired! Can't you put down the camera and carry me?

Finally at the top and exhausted. I can't believe Nina made me walk up with my short legs.

I Am A Murderer

I killed this baby bird who fell out of its nest.

The bird was hopping around the backyard and of course I had to attack. I just couldn't help it! It's in my blood. Nina knows I have a strong prey drive but she was still shocked when I pounced on the bird, chomped down its frail body, and started to shake it violently. The bird had a foul (no pun intended) taste which was apparent by the expression on my face. I dropped the bird and sniffed it one last time to make sure it was good and dead. Then I went about my day, prancing around the lawn.

Brody's Cone Head

Brody got neutered and had two of his upper teeth removed. He looks sad with the cone on but he is actually being very good about it. I think he likes it.


Brody makes Nina laugh when he runs into things. Nina is evil for laughing at his pain... I guess I'm evil for humping him. He kind of looks like a flashlight. Now that Brody's costume is figured out, there's more time to spend on thinking about my costume this year.

I forgot to mention that Nina has been spoon-feeding Brody canned food. If I could pout, that's what I'd be doing right now.

Triple Death Threat

Nina's sister recently went on vacation to Hawaii and brought back a triple death threat: kona coffee caramel & macadamia nuts covered in milk chocolate. I think Hawaii is trying to kill us...

In case you didn't already know, Coffee and Chocolate can cause vomiting, diarrhea, panting, increased thirst and urination, arrhythmias, tremors/seizures, and mortality in dogs. Macadamia Nuts are just as poisonous. Beware my fellow canines! Don't go to Hawaii!

Malibu Beach Franny

We drove down to Los Angeles again to visit Nina's sister, Pony. They were celebrating Nina's Birthday.

Here I am at a beach in Malibu.

How do my feet look? I think need a pawdicure. Unfortunately, I had to stay on a leash which resulted in many not-so-nice photos of moi.

Most beaches in LA don't even allow dogs! Can you believe that? We had to drive farther north so I could feel the sand between my toes. It felt gooood.
