Upper West Side

We stayed on the Upper West Side of Manhattan at the apartment of my "One True Love". There are a lot of dogs in NYC and I ran into at least five dachshunds on my first day out and about. Nina walked me around the park in front of the American Museum of Natural History which is just one block away from Vlad's apartment.

No dogs allowed???

Fine. I'm goin'.

Sniff, sniff. I smell a rat or a mouse or something small and furry.

I know you're in there! You can't fool this nose. I'm not leaving until...

Oooh, a pigeon!

West Side till I die,

Hi, Franny!
Glad you are having a good time there!
Those signs are not funny!
That is a cute pigeon! Did you chase him?
Kisses and hugs

Based on the dates I'm guessing you are back home already...If you are I hope that you found the dog parks on the upper westside. I lived there my first few years and loved it. The best shops even keep a dog treat jar and they just love cute dachshund (you look a little like me, so you would do well) and since you walk every where you don't have to worry about too many trats. :-)

Hi Lorenza! I chased the pigeon but it was protected by those pesky fences. I'm not sure why NYC is trying to protect the pigeons... Hope all is well with you!

Hi Anonymous! I am back from NYC already. It was a very fun trip and I did experience the better parts of the Upper West Side, including the shops with dog treats!

Hi Ruby & Penny! I didn't get that pigeon, but I've heard that squab is delicious! One day...
